Default Turbo four door 55 chevy build

Got a new project in the shop I'll be helping a friend build his 55 . This will be kinda a sloppy build some nice things some not so nice. But this car will driven daily so gotta be reliable.
07 5.3
Gt45
Walbro 400 intank pump
Th350 with 3200 stall
Holley hp efi
Sloppy turbo kit. Built by me.
Lots more pics coming soon on the fab work.

07 5.3 gettin ready to go in as soon as we get the old 6cyl out this week.gonna be using truck accessories like on my fairmont with a truck intake drive by cable. 80lbs injectors .

my buddy has a 4dr shoebox that he shaved the back door handles on. You had to look to tell it was a 4dr.. cool project.

On the 07 motors do you have those goofy lifters for the AFM or whatever?

Yeah they do. You gotta do a delete kit. That's the only thing bad about the gen4.

Where are you getting the delete kit? Is it just lifters and a smooth lifter valley cover?

Never mind just saw Texas speed has a kit. Didn't expect some things like the timing chain tensioner, head bolts, or the pcv stuff. Thx

what mount kit and oilpan are you useing?im doing a 55 sedan delivery 5.3 twin turbo

Using a conversion pan made for ls in a 55 . But he got it in today and its identical to a ctsv pan. Using some eBay mounting plates and welding tabs off the frame to the mounts. I'll post some pics of how we're gonna do it here soon. I'm planning on taking the old 6cyl out in the morning so we should be able to stab the 5.3 in hopefully next week . Ill take lots detailed pics of our sloppy fab skills.

that would be great.i found a pan for 150.i have a fuel tank with sump on it that i cant use.its for a car and mine is a wagon.if interrested let me know
