lol... you forgot to mention I was also untuned.
It's the same result up top, 4th gear get me by half a car, then they get rolled. Just like the ls3 mustang.
Sucks to see a boss get beat by 15+ yr old pushrod technology/n20 set up, doesn't it?

But yes youre right it sucks to see a top to bottom built 370ci beat a cat delete/air intake/tire 302ci. Im ashamed... stock ls1 probably would have done better.

Bwahahahahaha! you have no idea what this engine is. Built as in forged? The boss is forged as well. What's your point? That my untuned car still beat the boss being 100%?

You do have to admit the Boss driver leaves a bit on the table. The other 5.0 driver botched the 4-5 shift in the race against the PI Mustang, but hit it on the second race. You can see the difference. Boss driver was even worse, LOL. Idk why people are afraid to bang 5th on these cars. I find myself hesitating at times as well.

Ive had it apart next to a t-56 and a tko600... guess which trans has the biggest/strongest hard parts? Not the tremeks. Also it has carbon synchros, tremeks do not. Clutch is what takes out the synchros in these things. Play with the stock clutch for long periods of time... and you will lose the trans.

4l80e struggles a bit with this tight n20 converter. Which is my main downfall when running NA. From 90 to 120 it's stuck for a moment, 120 to 150 is where it pulls like ****. It made kfc_or_bust reach for the roof of the car and scrunch his butt to the seat, Lmfao!!!

4th to 5th seems to long, yes but also if 4th being his strongest and only is able to edge me me out by half right before going into 5th... He still would of gotten walked up top. My ride has never done well on high rolls, it needs to come in strong from the bottom gear to really shine through second and come in hard at 3rd.

However a slow shift to fifth csn completely kill momentum and its all over. Regardless...

Watch this video and note the differences between 4th and fifth gear. If they pull me in fourth, i stop there pull in fifth. If we are even in fourth, I pull in fifth. Car is air intake, catback only. No tune...nada
