whats the best clutch kit for a 2002 z06 under $1,200?need for 700rwhp

Default whats the best clutch kit for a 2002 z06 under $1,200?need for 700rwhp

i need a new cltuch and im looking for one that can handle 700rwhp,what do you guys recommend?whats a good clutch?
im sure i need the clutch,pressure plate,flywheel and throwout bearing etc...i need the whole kit..
monster has there stage 3 for around $700 for the whole kit and i was wondering if i had any more options thats under $1,200.

also member's what kind of clutches are you guys using?

I would run a twin disc. Mine is a McLeod. I got it for $1250 at JEGS, but it is for a LT1. Clutch, FW and larger MC was included in that $. Not sure what $ yours would be.

Many on this forum like Monsters offerings, don't know their pricing though.

While there are single disc clutches advertised/rated for your HP....IMHO a twin disc clutch is overall better, especially in terms of street maners, than the aggressive puc single disc clutch

I have heard nothing but good about Monster's, yet they do mention that it is a 6 puck style and should be driven moderate to hard.

The Level 3 is a bang for the buck street/strip clutch. If looking for something that has OE engagement and pedal feel, then our new LT1-S twin disc is the clutch for you as it is a modified version of the 2014 C7 Clutch and runs $1099. We conservatively rate it at 650rwhp for those that are going to abuse it, but hear is it in action.
