Lingenfelter TC1 For No-Lift Shift?
I've been researching the no-lift shift options. It seems most people use either the NM2B "WOT" box or the Lingenfelter LNC-003.
I'm curious as to why there isn't more talk of using the LNC-TC1 torque limiter for no-lift shifting? The box is made for dogbox/clutchless transmissions, but from what I can tell, the functionality is the same as the N2MB box, where it prevents all cylinders from firing for "x" amount of time. It's plug and play with the OEM electronics, it comes with a rev limiter (2-step).
I'm guessing you could activate the box off of the clutch safety switch, just like the N2MB box.
Any opinions? Does anyone use the TC1 box for no-lift shifting with a synchro-type trans?
