whats it take to run 9's nhra lagitamitely
I keep getting closer to making it legal to run 9's but I keep finding things I don't know how to fix or at least where to find them.. like a flywheel shield. the t400 I have had the bellhousing cut off to and bolted to the pump for the ls conversion. How do it get a shield for this? or do I have to run a blanket? but the flywheel is like 1/3 exposed so I know I will need a shield for it..
And who makes a sfi harmonic balancer to replace the stocker?
also a tech told me I would need a motor diaper since it has a turbo? is this true..
thanks

took 15 seconds to get on google and type in NHRA general regulations and hit enter.
http://www.nhra.com/UserFiles/file/G...egulations.pdf
And a couple clicks down was breakdown by ET.

Best to get the regulations either online or from nhra.
If you have the adapter for the trans, it doubles as a flexplate shield. You still need a blanket for the trans.
Power bond or ATI for the balancer.
Diaper only if you run competition events.
Of course a cage in the car. Needs to be certified by nhra tech. Pants, gloves, jacket, neck brace. Physical and competition license. Over 150? Parachute.
Basically a hassle.
Or, find a track that doesn't enforce any rules. I've seen vetted wot in car vid going 8's no bar, tshirt and a motocross helmet.
