Wondering whats a good drive shaft thats not too expensive. Im seeing them for around the $150 range. Also looking for a good set of U-Joints.

Going in an 01' Camaro Z28 with a 4L80e transmission and stock 10 bolt rear end (for now)

Curious on why you're upgrading the driveshaft? A good driveshaft isn't cheap. U have a A4 so it will last alil longer. I run a PST driveshaft ~480 bucks. I don't think u will find a driveshaft for that price range but you could upgrade your u-joints for cheap if you wanted.

Give Carl at CRP a call, I ordered a Strange Engineering driveshaft through him and it wasn't too expensive at all.

The Driveshaft Shop can do a 3.5" aluminum that can connect to the stock rearend and send you the appropriate U-Joint if you want to upgrade to a 12-bolt down the road. I went with them because they have the equipment to actually dynamically balance their driveshafts upto 9000 RPM.

Chances are your oem driveshaft with a different yoke and a conversion u-joint will work. Give us a call and we can get you the details and other options as well.

I meant the $150 range, as far as used, not new. I have over $11k invested and Im sure I'll be upgraded the rear end to a 12 Bolt/9" in the future, but for now, I dont want to buy anything and have to rebuy it later, meaning Id like for the U-Joints to be universal with whatever rear end I end up going with. Im hearing "Spicer" makes some good ones but I know theyre solid also. This will be a weekend cruiser/street-strip car, not driven very often.

Personally I would wait till you change the rear end to change the driveshaft that's what I did anyways.

I would wait then until you decide on what rear end you want to go with. The drive shaft is going to be a different length if you choose a 9 or a 12 bolt.

Spicer does make good u-joints, but until you change out the rearend and really abuse the car the reared will most likely fail before the u-joints. The oem driveshaft has enough slip left to accept the slightly longer 4L80 trans, so just get the correct yoke and u-joint for now. We have all the right parts at the best prices... give us a call!
