Default In tank fuel pump hose

My in tank PA4 kit from Tanks, Inc. came with F. I. Rated rubber hose. Would it be worth the effort to try and find the right size flexible plastic OEM hose used in factory installed systems.

If you are talking about the "soda straw" looking stuff I've used both it and submersible fuel rated high pressure hose in mild performance applications with good success.

There is a special grade of fuel line that is designed to be submerged in fuel. The regular high pressure EFI rated hose is designed to hold pressure and the inner layers are fuel proof. The outer layers are not fuel resistant and will disintegrate until the hose clamp does not provide enough pressure and the hose slips off the pump.....ask how I know.

Gates does make hose that is designed for high pressure submerged use. I think some other companies do too? The hose should be SAE J30R10 rated. Using regular hose will work for a while....but it might just fall apart in the middle of a roadtrip.

Or you can take my preferred option and buy the OEM style "soda straw" line much cheaper.

Sorry, I thought I added a link in my first message.

Racetronix has various lengths of the OEM style stuff. Link to product.
