Default Iron LS2 w OE WS6 catback noise attenuation.

Iron LS2 6.0 w ASA cam, TSP LT's and on the fence of going ORY or catted ypipe. The car currently has a Borla adjustable catback and I have all of the plates for it. Should it prove to be entirely too loud with the above catback as I have been advised it very well may be obnoxious loud.

How much will a stock WS6 catback tame it down I know they flow well for what they are and this is a street car it'll never make it to the track. The reason this is crossing my mind is because that's one of the tricks to do on the trucks especially the 6.2's like mine with LT's to shut them up and they still sound pretty sexy.

I have heard in person an LS1 with longtubes ORY and stock catback and yes it tames it down. My opinion it was so quite I was like why mod the car if its going to be this quite. I don't know how well the muffler flows but I remember coming across a dyno of an LS2 gto with longtubes and stock mufflers and the stock mufflers was robbing like at least 20hp maybe even more.Hope this helps. By the way I have heard a borla catback with open plate and its perfection why not keep the sound. Police issuse?

Here is headers, ORY, and the stock catback. A gopro was used to film it so it doesn't have the best sound quality.

6.0 LY6 block stuffed with LS2 crank and rods with flat top pistons and 243 LS6 heads and I'm putting a ASA cam in it.

I'm hoping it sounds good. BUT, I live in a college town and the cops are ****** so should I run into problems everytime I drive it then it will be tamed accordingly to not have to deal with the police. Sound clip above actually sounds really good.

What's the difference between an LS2 crank and an LQ crank?
