Default 1967 chevelle, LS2, whipple supercharger, 6L80E

Hi all, I've just started my ls2 conversion in my 67 chevelle. I've fitted a 98-02 Camaro pan. It clears the tie rod ends by 1/2 an inch & has 3 degrees of fall. The problem I have is the low profile G8 pan still hangs 2 1/2 inches lower then the chassis rails. Is this normal ? I can't go to high because of the supercharger. The engine seems to be in a perfect position. Has anyone got any opinions ? Thanks. Anthony.

From all the reading I have been doing, people seem to cut that oil pan to make it flush with the chassis rails. You could try the Holley 302-2 pan but looking at your location it seems cheaper to cut your oil pan and make it fit.

That is my opinion, I am no pro at this, yet.
