Default 2000 ss - long cranking period on warm start

I am having trouble diagnosing what is wrong with my 00 ss. The car starts immediately on a cold start, however, after shutting it off and starting it after 30min-a few hours, it takes a long time to start. Could it be the fuel filter? It is original. it only has 35k miles on it so I dont think the fuel pump is bad. What else can I check
