Hi i need some help

I got a trans out of a 2001 gmc van cutaway bus it is called a Thomas built minotour 14 passanger bus

Now on the side of trans it said 4l80 but i have never seen 4l85 on the side of any trans with my google search.

It was behing a 6.5 diesel

Also i thought after 99 these trans had the 12 o'clock bolt hole? This one dont. Guessing because of the 6.5 set up.

I know it is the orignal trans i ran the id tag and it came back as saying its a 01 4l80. But i searched thru all the other codes and did not c one 4l85 listed.

So what else can i check to know for sure?
