Yes you will need to cut bumper fascia in order for it to be effective.. But if you wanna do it just for the looks, you won't have to cut anything. I didn't mind cutting it because either way it's covered up rather you run a license plate or the normal cover that says "corvette" on it.

Here's a write up.. I did not cut as large of a hole as he did.. I cut a whole the size of the screen on the Mod
I believe my Mod is a kaltech, but I'm not sure.. Cleaner setup. He custom made his himself, and made a larger hole on the mod with larger screen space as you can compare mine to his.. I think mine looks cleaner.
