Default WOT Switch/Window Safety Swithch

So I have a 2004 CTS-V and I am installing the nitrous kit. I have a Lingenfelter LNC-2000 Launch Controller already. My question is what are my options for a WOT switch? Id rather not put a switch under the pedal, but will if needed. I see the WOT switches that pull TPS signal but don't want to spend $100+ on a WOT switch...I do how ever need a Window safety switch and talked to a guy in sales from Lingenfelter and he said the Lingenfelter Window Safety Switch would work as a WOT switch (the guy also sounded like he wanted to get me off the phone as soon as he picked up...pretty shitty when I just spent close to $300 on the LNC-2000 and was ready to buy a window switch to go with it) So is it true that I can use the Lingenfelter Window switch as a WOT switch as well? If not what are my options?

Is this the window switch he was talking about?

if so then yes you can hook it up to a TPS signal and just set the activation and deactivation points with the dials manually.

Most of the progressive controllers run around the $400 range.

Most of the controllers out there will give you the TPS input that you are looking for as well as the RPM window switch.

Our progressive controller will do that as well as a couple of other unique features, such as MPH progression, and it has the ability to adjust the fuel and nitrous solenoid separately to achieve a target air/fuel ratio when it is hooked up to a wide band.

Here is a link to our Progressive controller.

If you would like a quote on one please feel free to PM me.

Default WOT switch

For some reason I can't follow that link.

Our RPM window switch is our RPM-003 (part # L460160000), found here:
http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...=#.UwOn02JdXDw

Our module that reads throttle position to give you an adjustable WOT (Wide Open Throttle) setting is our CTAP-001 (part # L460190108), found here:
http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...=#.UwOoV2JdXDw

We normally recommend getting the WOT signal from the throttle itself on electronic throttle vehicles because if you go off of the pedal the throttle could be closed even though the pedal is fully depressed. If you want a microswitch for the pedal we do offer a fairly compact universal micro-switch kit, part # L480330000, found here:
http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...=#.UwOo7WJdXDw

As others have mentioned, some nitrous controllers have built in WOT and RPM window switch features (our NCC-002 does as do others).

Hope this helps.

What are the differences between the NOS mini and the NX Maximizer 4?

The maximizer can also be progressed by MPH, and it has the ability correct air fuel ratio while spraying nitrous. It can also reference several perimeters at once.

I am probably going to get the NOS mini 2 stage controller. Has delay, progressive controls, and window switches.

+1

I did the same thing and used it in conjunction with my LNC controller to pull timing. Both were fairly easy installs and the wiring was straight forward once I did some research.

The NOS digital box is nice. Like another user said, it does everything but pull timing and is very easy to hook up and use.

The Mini Progressive Controller is one of the best bang for your buck progressives out there.
