Default Is 150 shot safe

To start I have a 2010 Camaro SS 6.2 LS3 Manual. Now I'm thinking of buying a nitrous kit for it. Would 150 shot be to much for the bottom end? I've heard people say that's no problem but I would like to see if anyone has ran that much and if everything was/is okay. My mods currently Kooks 1 7/8 long tube headers, full borla exhaust and CAI. I did just order a Comp Cam and I'm currently looking for springs and pushrods. Thank you in advance!

150hp is plenty safe in your car. I personally have run up to 250hp on a stock bottom end without any problems at all.

You will want to put two step colder plugs in the car before you spray. I recommend running a BR7EF from NGK gapped at .032. You wont notice any performance loss on these plugs either so you can still drive around town on them.

You will also want to pull some timing to prevent detonation.

Also when you put your cam in I would recommend putting a 255lph or bigger fuel pump in.

We ran one of our LS3 specific plate on the 2010 Camaro that we had a while back and the car loved it. It had the same mods that yuo have but we did not have a cam in it.

Here is the system that we ran on our car.
