How much boost on pump gas?
I'm finishing up a 408 stroker build 6.0 Iron block I've been working on since October. This is my first LS build and have a local machine shop "White's Performance" help me put it all together. However I picked out the pieces and parts myself from what I've read on the internet basically. It will be going down in my 02 Trans Am 6 speed. How much boost can you expect to run on 93 pump gas and meth injection using a F1A or F1X Procharger? Compression is 9.5.1 using Gen X Trickflow 235s and the improved/updated LSX 102mm Intake/Throttle Body and roughly what kind of numbers do you think it would put down? Bottom end is almost bullet proof nothing has been short cut.

Max on pump gas is dependant on a lot of different things. What's your cam profile? How are you cooling the charge temps? Are you running meth/water injection?
Also, with a procharger, max boost will occur at max engine rpm, and will be dependant on everything in your setup including cubic inches, cam overlap, exhaust, intake track, etc etc.
Also, there's quite a bit of difference between running a F1A and a F1X. How do you plan to spin the blower? Cog setup, direct drive, 8-rib belt?
So there are quite a few more peices of the puzzle to think about before being able to say you can run XX psi, and make XXX or XXXX horsepower.

Better off leaving it to the professionals I suppose then lol. Im just taking my engine and Procharger to the guys along with my Trans Am and letting them do the complete swap installing everything mounting the procharger and tuning it. Wasnt sure what kind of number I could expect out of it though. Guess it will have to be a surprise when I get it back lol.

I know I'm turbo but I run 21psi on a stock ls1 with a cam. Its all in stock form besides cam stuff. I haven't had a problem so far. S475 turbo. 93 pump/twin 10gph meth nozzles. I use 100% meth. I'm near 900rwhp. I'm sure your 408 could well surpass my level on pump with right tuning. I run 12-13 degrees timing.
