Default Question about Torque arm hardware Fbody

I noticed that the nut and bolt holding the the torque arm to the rear end was lose and some gear oil was leaking. Before I remove it to clean up the area. My question is. Is there any seal that goes between the torque and the rear diff? Or is it just metal to metal?

Car is a 02 WS6

Any feed back is appreciated.

There's a "fill" port behind the torque arm right behind the pinion yoke on the side of the housing..

Other than that you have the "main cover"

So then, In any of the hardware that goes through the torque arm and diff there isnt a seal to keep fluid from leaking? Its just bare torque arm metal to diff metal and then the nut bolt and washer that holds the arm to the diff?

You are probably seeing trace oil splash from a pinion leak. Normal on a car that age. No, you can remove the bolts as you like, they don't seal anything.
