86 SS Monte Carlo LQ4 swap Hoping to swap the LQ4 I have sitting on a pallet into my 86 SS Monte Carlo, I plan to use a 2wd 4L80E. I am planning on dropping a set of 317 heads off to a local machine shop to have them cleaned up and a valve job done.. I want to do a cam for sure in this motor before it goes in..... how much can I mill these heads??? And what do guys reccomend for a cam? Not my Daily driver just a toy, I'd like a choppy idle of course. I will use whichever stall converter I need to.
