Aftermarket HU, monsoon speakers Ok, my friend has a 99 Z28 and replaced his HU, he has ZERO bass, and the speakers barely put out anything. Is there a trick to wiring the Monsoon speakers? I thought I saw a writeup about needing a PACOEM (sp?) thing? or its wired wrong? Just wondering, its driving him nuts. Thanks!

The Monsson H/U is designed for a large bass boost, even when the EQ is set flat. You'll probably need the loud and bass boost functions to mimic the old H/U.
