way to fix tail light lense?
Hey everyone, i just picked up my 99 trans am last thursday and on the way home a rock hit my drivers side tail light. It caused a nice big crack in the lense. With the car there was another set of tailights as well, unfortunatley the drivers tailight has a bunch of little cracks in it but is all around solid. So i was wondering if there was a way to somehow fix those cracks so there not visible. The lense is solid and together just has cracks all over, i'll see if i can get picture later.

I'd just buy a replacement on Hawks or Ebay. I bought the center brake light assy on Ebay and it was in mint condition. I used a bit of polish and made it look brand new.

if its really minor cracks you might try wet sanding and polishing the lens? Not sure but I've heard thats what can be done for fogged and oxidized headlights. If it doesnt turn out good, you could always get a replacement.
