Doing mine right now. Header selection is kind of hit and miss, but these never came with an 8 cylinder anyway, so what do you expect. Running an auto saves allot of headache but I'm using a t56.

Spend the money and order the BRP headers, they are a work of art and paired with their trans mount and motor mounts they fit perfectly.

I'm using those right now, they clear a t56, but the retards did not even attempt to see if they clear a clutch master.

And run the 1 3/4 full lengths with an AC box? Not in this life time.

which generation are you trying to install this in? I've seen about 50 swaps where clearance was never an issue with the A/C and master, main problem was always the control arms which is why everyone always swaps to tubular lowers.

Nevermind just saw your thread on S10forums..

The headers I had from them looked like a set straight off a 4th gen car except they were as long as Vette headers.

My truck was also a manual to begin with...they cleared both the A/c setup and the master with no problem at all.

I see that you have the set that goes around the frame rail though, no clue how those fit..I didn't like the design so I just bought the 1.75 set.

last ls swap i did "sloppy style" and used a factory truck manifoldon the pass side and a 4th gen f-body manifold on the drivers side (i dont recommend that). it came out pretty nice.

Stainless works makes some nice 1 7/8 headers. Also check out http://www.currentperformance.com . That's where I got a lot of my parts and Jared is a really cool guy and very helpful!

Man I wish they had all this cool stuff in 06 and 07 when I was building my little 6.0 dime it would have been soo much easier. All the s10 swap stuff was in it's infancy back then I used the sanderson shorties and mount kit with mine when I put it together but it's all they had back then. Now it's literally a piece of cake deal mine was a chingo PITFA getting it all to fit and function but came out better than factory looking.

Used BRP and now Stainless Works headers on my build... SW's product is far superior in every way.
