Default Bone stock 6.0 turbo options

Forgive me, but I have looked though some threads and articles, and I tend to scan too quickly when I research, but I'm in search of a turbo that will keep my 6.0 streetable but still keep me entertained as well, in essence it will be in a 3/4 ton truck and I do a fair amount of hauling, but that being said its a daily driver. 2002 chevy 2500hd lq4 6.0 getting a rebuild before turbo. Can anybody share with me some turbos or even dimensions? Again forgive my negligence to research thoroughly I don't have much time to research most days.

i have an MP76 with 1.0AR hot side divided flange and my 5.3L spools it at 3k rpms, if i WOT i hit boost at 2800rpms into next gear, t56 in my T/A, i recommmand it for a DD for quick/good spool time, when it comes on it comes on hard too lol

S475 if it's going to be hauling. Also need a fairly large hot side or it's going to be in boost all the time and guzzle fuel and make heat. A nice small tq cam will also help a lot.

Thanks guys, I stopped at the diesel shop by my place today that rebuilds turbos, the owner recommended a T04B28 I think by garret, he said the internals (cartridge) are common, but it seems to me finding housings is quiet a challenge, he gave me the CHRA cartridge # and housing #'s said it has a .96 AR turbine, looks like total about $650

The 96mm turbine 1.32ar version s475 should be large enough for him I'd think right? Its only $650.

That's what I'm thinking, that'll help keep it from constantly being boosted yet come on when you open it up.

Not to hijack, but would a turbo with a 1.10 a/r from an old 7.3L powerstroke non inter-cooled work for a smaller ls like a 4.8L. These are cheap out there and come in a lot of different applications, they are also made by garret.

What rpm would 1.32 AR bring boost in at? I know toxic said his 1.0 brings it in at 3000, i have 4.10 gear and cruising at 70 is about 2100-2300 and just drivin through town i dont usually get above 3000.

mine wont boost unless im 1/2 throttle or more so if ur worried about cruising and being in boost i really doubt u will but, also a thing i did with my tune to help with mpg since i DD mine, is when u go to tune it with boost enrichment, dont have it spray more fuel right at 105kpa (0psi) wait till it has to be at likr 110 or 115kpa (mines at about 2psi), u wont hurt anything with 1-2psi with out extra fuel and that way if ur low rpm and give it gas and u hit 0psi but no boost it wont go into boost enrichment and go from 14.7 (or what ever u tune it to cruise/drive N/A) to 11s A/F ratio with out the boost, ive been running 12psi for about 5-6 months like this on 12psi and 2-3 months on 16psi with alot of WOT pulls and no issues or knock at all with it like this.

also if im at 3200+ rpms cruising/not in boost and i nail it i instant boost so turbos not to big or to small at this size ether, i just dont want to see u over turbo it and have to wait till 4k rpms or something for it to come on and then usually when its that big and it iicks it u go from like 300hp to 600hp in half a sec lol, mine comes in hard as it is
