2007 G35 stock vs full bolt on 2011 Stage 2 WRX

This is just a tad ambitious. I usually see them in the 98-99mph range if they're driven well. I raced one while driving a 2010 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 fresh from running 13.9 @ 101. The Genesis absolutely bent it over 3 times in a row, it wasn't even close. The G37 might trap 103 though.

103 is more of the rare side but yes a couple have trapped that high stock according to mag test times. Remember they switched from the older VQ35DE to the HR high rev version in 07 @ 306hp. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...edan-road-test
the 03-06 G's trap about 98. My 06 Altima ran 99, was kind of a sleeper but ran out of steam at that speed.

Mag times don't always translate to real world times.
In fact they rarely ever do lol
It's also important to consider that the G35 in this video is auto (5AT), and they're typically a lot slower than the 6MT versions.

Tires held it back(rock hard new primwell's that had a blowout on me on the highway few days ago!), and I guess the VDC traction control isn't fully defeatable without a tune? It was off but the slip light was flashing off the line and it felt like it was cutting power for a split second.
With a 1.9 60 foot the G37 sedans(same thing but 20 more hp, 2 extra gears) can run pretty fast in good da.
