Another Newbie Greetings from Indiana where we are currently enjoying ice and sleet.
Just purchased a used LS1 from an '01 WS6 T/A for future transplant into a '95 BMW M3.
The engine has ~89k miles and was a confirmed runner when pulled from the donor car (a driving total = front to rear pass. side damage).
My plans are to refresh the engine (gaskets, etc.) but otherwise leave stock. I don't know much about the LS series engines but I have rebuilt a few BMW's in the past so it should be fun to learn.
I figured it would be good to join this group since there is such a great knowledge base to lean on during my learning process.
