Bolt On GTO vs Built Mazdaspeed3 At a carmeet last night, a guy with a speed3 asked if I wanted to get some runs in... I know him through a few of my buddies..
He said it was built motor, big turbo, pump gas, email tune (no dyno numbers)...
I found out through a buddy that knows him, it has a gt30r turbo, but he couldn't verify if it was a built motor.
Mazda blew his stock motor a few months back racing a cammed G8.
We agreed to 50+ mph rolls , Mazda owners request..
Race 1...55-100
Race 2... 35-130, my car spun hard, ECU cut throttle then got back on it again (you can hear it/when the Mazda pulls out almost a car)... I reel him in ... 130, I'm next to him boutta pull away... We shut it down..

It's not a built motor. Just pistons and rods. Plus you got the jump on ever run we had. I let out when I hit 120 and coasted. You told me you didn't want to do anything less then a 50 roll cause you would spin. Also I was looking for a race and so were you so we ran. So I was like do you want to and you said yea. So we went out and ran. When you post about a run make sure you put all the info in the post. You knew when I said was done to the car. I have nothing to hide.

You walked up && said , do you have your car here... I said yes... You then asked if I wanted to get some runs in... I said sure.
I asked where you wanted to run && what rolls you were thinking... You said anything over 50, I agreed, because anything lower && we'd spin.. You && subie were the ones that slowed down to 35ish , not me...
My car is auto so it takes a second to downshift so I do nail it a little early... I'll say it was a jump the first race.. That's fine ... But the second race, even if I did get the jump.. I started a half car back..
&& to your "let off at 120 && coasted" .. The second half of that video I'm reeling you in once I get traction..

Something's not right here...... Not a chance in hell an "exhaust only" sti would have stayed anywere close to you from a roll if A: your cars running properly or b: it really is exhaust only... My 04 m6 pulled them cars bumpers off from a DIG when it was stock.....

Idk what's done to the STI, I hear bolt ons so I'm assuming , intake/turboback/tune...
Spinnin ain't winnin is all I have to say lol

The Subi is just exhaust lol. I will agree with the last run. But what about the first one you were ahead of me. Also what about the other two races you didn't post up. We did 4 back to back races 50-120. Show the other races or what you don't want to so them? Cause the first two you jumped out in me and I reals you in and passed you. I did say built motor sorry but it's just pistons and rods. If you want to do this again I have a gopro to film with. Same race just make sure the first few get recorded.
