Default stock 6.0 block, LS3 heads, 408ci, F1x, 23psi=1140 rwhp on pump E85

Just thought Id share some results from a friends car. Engine is a stock 6.0 iron block stroked to 408 ci. Stock LS3 heads with work. Stock LS3 intake manifold. LJMS hydraulic roller camshaft. 1 7/8's headers and 3 inch exhaust. Oh and an F1x makin 23 psi.

Pretty killer results... and an awesome torque curve thats above 800 for 2200 rpm.

Awesome results!

What crank and rods are used in this setup?

Which transmission?

What pulley sizes was he using (crank and blower) to achieve this 23 psi.

I'm asking to compare to my 408/F2 combo.

Killer numbers!

4" piping and 4" intercooler?
Velocity stack on the blower or 5" pipe/filter?
Pump gas/meth?
I assume the cam is pretty moderately sized..

I've got a 402 with an F1R at 23 psi and I don't make anywhere near that kind of power.... I've considered switching to an F1X but don't want to push more then 23 psi on pump gas so I figured I wouldn't gain much power at the same boost level I'm at with the F1R..

yes on the 4 inch pipe and intercooler... no velocity stack or pipe on the blower... Pump E85... no meth.

Cam is moderate in my opinion.... others might dissagree... Did the cam for a 2 or 2 1/8 primary header really.... once the new pipes go on... it should make more power.

Amazing results just nasty Congrats to the owner and great work from everyone involved I read the crazy owner is spraying it too!!!!
Every F1X results I've seen showing the power keeps pulling at higher RPMs more than the F2 but loosing a little bit mid range power is that right??

LilJohn I'm gonna contact you soon for a cam order for my new setup

Heres an idle clip. Hope the link works.

Yea.. hes spraying it and Im not too thrilled about it...lol. things having a hard enough time exhaling throu a set of 1 7/8's headers. Once he gets the 2 1/8 primaries on it id like to see on the car... itll work better.

Lets assume he is spinning the motor 7000 rpm. With that pulley combo (also assuming zero belt slip), that puts the blower near max impeller speed.

Maybe I'm missing something but a maxed out f1x being sprayed that only makes 1100 rwhp seems a little low.....am I missing something????
