Default Flex fuel injectors

Are flex fuel injectors considered high flow? I see a lot of post about upgrading injectors and was wondering if a lot of times the person could buy junkyard flex injectors instead of aftermarket for mild turbo, etc.

Yes, they have to be able to make the factory rated hp on E85 just like E10 or whatever regular gasoline is. I have been told the stock injectors in the flex fuel 6.2 L92 engines are good for about 600rwhp on gasoline. They are 403 hp from factory and to be able to do that on E85 requires some flow. That same amount of flow on E10 would make significantly more than 403 hp.

I wouldnt say 600RWHP. They are around 42# roughly. Although I have seen the injector tables themselves vary a bit. With the trucks, they may clear 500 at the wheels, but you would want to check duty cycle after your afr is dialed in.
