Default Burnt my solenoids - can I fix?

While I was working on the car I left both on too long and they started smoking. Now they don't work.

Can I just replace the coils? or could it have damaged anything else?

You just need new coils. However when you burn up a solenoid, it usually melts the magnet to the tower inside. You'll have to see if you can get the magnet off..if they are our brand solenoids you can send them in and we can repair them for basically the cost of the parts.

I just said screw it and ordered the Proton Plus kit from you guys today.
Thanks for the help.
I spoke with NOS and I am in the process of converting to E85 and they told me that the only compatible solenoid from them is the Alky solenoid and the one I had was not.

I was happy to know that the Nitrous Express solenoids were all E85 compatible and even more happy when I found out that you can order the kit with E85 size jets instead of the Gasoline size jets for no extra charge!

Thanks!
