Cadillac t56 in ls1 rx7?
What's up guys. I'm building a 1991 n/a ls1 rx7 and I found a sweet deal on a Cadillac cts-v ls6 t56. I start searching around, and i see several posts insinuating it might not be compatible with this or that. My question is- does this thing bolt to an ls1 (I assume if it fits a ls6, it will) and what's the difference in the output shaft/flange?
Thanks in advance guys.

it will have a bolt on flange output shaft.
it will also have a longer bellhousing for use with a dual mass flywheel. So if you run a standard flywheel you'll need the bigger pilot(you'll need this anyways) and the longer LS7 slave or a thick spacer(~3/4") with an f-body slave.

Also a remote shifter. Unless it's a steal of a deal, I would just wait for a non -V trans to come along. I was in the same boat on my FB swap, and I just kinda realized that it wasn't worth picking one up and going through the hassle of swapping enough stuff to get it to work.
