Default **Official 2014 Event: SRK "Loser eats Crow" Challenge**

Mods: before you lock this, message me. I've made all attempts to reach out to get approval.

Participants: Post #2 will serve as a status update. Please check often.

"Loser Eats Crow" challenge.
-Any individual that frequents the SRK section can enter this challenge. Please reach out to me if you would like to be added and which class you’d like to be apart of. Challenge acceptance ends on Saturday March 15th. 2014
-All participants submit 1/4 mile pass's from those in the Challenge up to July 31st 2014. Best overall pass will be tallied and ranked by ET. by class The participant with the slowest ET will be identified for that class.
-If you make a pass outside of your class post it here anyway. Participants who make passes that exceed the class will be handled on a case by case basis in a diplomatic fashion. This could include a standing in that class with the faster pass or be placed into the next faster class to keep the competition and fairness equal for everyone.
-This is a honor system type challenge with some stipulations and proof measures to keep everyone honest. It is not intended to bar people from participating.

Rules
-Car must be known to other contestants at the time of accepting the challenge.
--:This includes, make, model, year, general information, and a Picture/Video
-Full disclosure of detailed modifications is not necessary and up to the participants discretion.
-Car passes that are submitted must be driven by the screen named person. No exceptions
-All passes must include adequate proof of pass. This includes a combination of video, slips, car number, and/or forum regulars testimonial. This is a good faith measure to keep all participants honest. If there is question to the validity of a submitted pass then it will be voted on by participants where majority rule is needed.
-All passes must have time submitted within 3 days of track date on slip and proof must be submitted within 7 days of track outing but not past July 31st 2014.
-Participants can submit as many timeslips from their chosen vehicle and make as many passes as they wish.
-Numbers are final, no calculation for DA, deficits or bad runs. No phantom timeslips(bag blowing across beams)
-No fabricated timeslips will be allowed.
-Bikes will not be allowed into groupings with cars/trucks.
-Entrants can elect to remove themselves from the competition up to March 22nd 2014
-If you can not make a pass after the competition start date of March 22nd 2014 then you will "Default". Default entrants will automatically lose the event at the close of July 31st to those that have posted applicable timeslips. If there are multiple defaulted entrants in a class then we will determine how to handle those individuals at that time.
-All class’s are based off of time spread of x.00-x.99 for that group.

Losers Obligation
-Of those that participate the loser from each class must comply with these obligations.
-Loser must wear a shirt bought buy the winner.
-Loser must take picture wearing said shirt and post it on ls1tech.
-Loser must make that their avatar for the remainder of 2014.
-Loser must put in signature line for remainder of 2014 [I lost the 2014 SRK "Loser Eats Crow" Event] in normal text size and color.

Winners Obligation
-Keep the shirt clean and tasteful. No swearing or personal attacks.
-Winner of the class ranking gets final say on decisions for the losers obligations.

Class
So with that said this challenge isn't about what you have ran in the past, but instead what you think you can run or what you are shooting for this year. Afterall, this is how this challenge started with some folks being optimistic for the up coming race season. I'm asking everyone to give me their honest opinion on where they think they fit best.

All Entrants Read This

I made the rules for a reason. It was to come up with a fair and finite set of guidelines that everyone could get behind. With that said I also understand that this competition is only as effective and successful as those that enter the challenge choose it to be(ie entering passes). The only course of action I can take that is both fair and diplomatic is to uphold the rules *unless* there is a majority consensus amongst all entrants to extend the challenge. I want this to be a success as much as you guys want to get your slips in. This is the only diplomatic way to decide on this. I ultimately get the final say for this challenge and any changes that we make, but for this piece I put it in your hands to decide.

This is how we are going to handle it.
-Every entry gets 1 vote.
-If you entered two vehicles in separate classes, you get two votes. see note 1 below.
-If the vote to extend the competition is greater or equal to 19 votes then we will extend the challenge (37 total entries)
-If a registrant does not vote then it's an automatic "No" vote
-The extension period will be decided shortly after voting for the extension has completed.
-You have 1 week from the timestamp on this post to enter your vote.
-If you have to pm, call, txt, facebook other entrants that don't frequent this thread then do so.
-You can change your vote during the 7 day period but all votes are final once the voting period ends.

Also, below is a new rule that all entrants must abide by. There are no votes for this addition.

New rule to default entrants
-If a class has a default entrant at the end of the competition then they are automatically the loser.
-If there are multiple default entrants for a given class then it is up to the discretion of the winner to choose which single person from that pool within that class would be the loser and must abide by all the terms of the losers obligations.

note 1 - rational for this is if you have two vehicles then you have twice the amount of responsibility to get your vehicle(s) ready and passes completed. They also have twice the risk, twice the reward, twice the stake. Only seems fair to give them 2 votes to vote as they wish. Voting can be split per your discretion.

Yes - TastyC10

That's it, majority vote has been attained. The extension will be for 1 month and thats it. No further extensions will be made out of respect for those that have already made passes. July 31st is the new deadline. Get your passes in boys.

19 yes votes. 0 more needed to pass

Yes, if you can't run do to build interuptions or breakage you lose and go to the bottom of that listing. It's a risk you'll have to take if you want to be in this go around. We will potentially have another challenge for the second half of the year as well.

I'm also adding hyperlink jumps onto the 1st post to the car details for that registrant. I'll probably do the same to document participants runs.
