Default new ls1 swap

This will be my second ls swap first was my 5.3 in a 63 nova now im doing a 99 ls1 into a 92gmc 4x4 im just curious what I can expect for real world horsepower at the flywheel bone stock with a tune and cats deleted ? And who is the best tobget a mail order tune through? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Realistically they are 340-350 hp bone stock, so with tune and cat delete maybe 360 hp

look for a l33 bit more compression (10:1) and aluminum block be perfect for your early 60's nova. Headers will help if you want more power than stock. I think should easily get 350hp -360hp doing nothing.. Headers and nice xpipe high flow exhaust will get you even more.

If you cam the engine... even more.

look on last page of article for some aftermarket cams. I personally like the one that made 411hp #6000rpm or the hottest cam that mad 442hp @ 6200 rpm. Would make that light little nova move!

I finished the nova and just sold it I'm doing an all aluminum ls1 swap in my 92 gmc 4x4 right now. Trying to get it prepared for top truck challenge in June . Thanks for the other replays guys
