Default stock oil dipstick hits my Hotchkis STB

Anyone else have this problem? did you take the time to move it? I have noticed that there is already a rub mark on the darn STB, so I might as well leave it now to hide the mark...sucks checking oil though.

Why don't you try this, get a very small black rubber piece and stick it on the STB between the dip stick and the STB

Had to bend my transmission dipstick (auto) towards the passenger side cause the damn thing was hitting the new fuel log fittings. Just do it slowly.

Hey Steve,
I know you had the Hotckis STB and FRC's. If you bend the dipstick tube won't the hole cut in the FRC's not line up?

I had to bend my oil dipstick to make my it fit into the hole in my FRC's. I also used the screwdriver method

I wrapped my dipstick (heh) tube with a couple
of layers of black friction tape the day after my
Hotchkiss STB install because it was buzzing.
This was OK, black on black under black you
can't really see it. Now with age my tube hangs
lower and it's not a problem. But the friction tape
is still there.
