Default Huron Speed Turbo Trans Am

Been a work in progress, and we finally got the car completed, so I figured I would share and send out a thanks to all involved.

Car ran our Truck Manifold kit 2 seasons ago. Last season it received our C6 Manifold A/C retaining kit with the Rediversary theme some of you may remember. This winter the car under went many changes from top to bottom to prepare it for the Detroit Autorama Car Show. This was out first time doing a show car set-up, and to come home with a trophy was incredible!

Changes to the car included:

-Huron Speed Products V2 Hotside Turbo Kit w/ 4" Bumper Exit Downpipe
-Huron Speed Custom fabled Cold-Side
-Thompson Motorsports Aluminum 347 Longblock
-Turbonetics Billet Mid-Frame 7575 Turbo
-Complete engine bay re-paint with engine and all accessories removed done in-house
-Custom hydrographics work all done in-house
-Vinyl Stripes removed and a high metallic silver stripe painted on done in-house
-PA Racing full tubular front end suspension (K-member, spindles, a-arms, manual rack, etc)
-CRP Fabricated 9" Rear End narrowed 3" per side
-TH400 Trans w/ Brake + RMVB
-Circle D Torque Converter
-Tick Performance Battery Relocate and Martin Spec'd Camshaft
-Weld Racing 17" Alumastar fronts and RTS rears thanks to Texas-Speed
-Strange Pro-Race Brakes

I am sure I am forgetting plenty, but thanks to everyone involved, as we couldn't have made the show, let alone take home a 2nd place trophy without your help!

Look forward to more updates, track times, etc when the weather breaks here in Michigan!

Took 2nd place!

Thanks everyone! I plan to bring it to the track quite often. I won't be grudge racing it, but I will probably have it at the No ET events as it doesn't have a cage yet. Hope to get some dyno numbers shortly as well at a local F-body dyno event.

Car still needs a few things gone over and an alignment before we hit the track.

It will be on roughly 15-17 psi with the 98' computer. A cage, full re-wire of the car, and a Holley EFI system are on the docket next!

Looks great! I think coil relocation and a set of nice valve covers would go a long ways on this thing!!

that's one of my personal favorite parts of the whole car. if you cant tell, the HSP is actually raised off of that other piece just slightly. in person it looks KILLER.
