Question Fikse wheels question

What are the major differences in the Fikse line of wheels between the Classic and the Profil? All it says on the site about the Profil line is. This new line features a wide range of new features and improvements, and is available in 17", 18" and 19" applications: So what exactly does that mean? Is it worth it to pay the extra $ for the Profil line? Does the Profil line have a wider lip? That is one major part of my wheel selection. That is why I have shied away from the HRE's. Any info would be nice.

Thanks,
Jason

The Classic line as far as I understand only use one size center section, so when you want a bigger diameter wheel the outer hoop gets bigger.

The Profil line, is lighter and the wheels are designed and built specifically for the wheel diameter, there for an 18" wheel will have a bigger center than a 17".

Does that make sence? BTW I love my FIKSE's

Exclamation

I have both styles. FM5's and Profil 13's. Both have their unique look. FM5's have been and still are one of my favorite wheels.

The Classic line looks great in 17" diameters, if one wants 18's you may want to consider the Profil line, but as always $$$ comes into play. The Profil are expensive!
