Default Power steering fluid leak (help)

Ls1 98 Camaro power steering keeps leaking i gotta keep refilling it it's like gas once low pour more lol. I got under the vehicle to try to pin point where it's coming it was hard to pin point exactly? It looked like somewhere under by the k member looks like a hell of a job to fix but got to get it done it's my daily drive. Thanks.

Pics? Most likely it's the PS high pressure hose. I had the same problem, replaced the hose and no more leaks:

If its the high pressure hose you're in luck......it's cheap and it takes 15 minutes to change.

Yes, unlike a whole new rack which is ~$150.00 at a minimum, and a pain to do with the required re-alignment/partial engine lift/etc..

Well i'ma change that hose hopefully it solves the problem other wise it's gonna be a job to fix

Thanks guys i wanted to change the hose from day one but i wanted to see if there was more to it??

Do you have a pool of fluid under the car? Did your car come with a P/S cooler?

Any updates? I also have a power steering leak which i have to refill every week or so..

Same here got a leak. Puddles up under the pass side of my car. Looks like it's coming from the rubber/ plastic boot on the rack???? Any one???

Look under your car at the high pressure hose. If it's dripping with fluid get yourself a replacement and you're set.
