Fuel rails for edelbrock pro flo xt. Good or no?
I'm wanting the pro flo xt manifold, but I've read a lot of negative things about the fuel rails that must be used with it.
What is so bad about the fuel rails? Is it the 3/8" size or that it uses NPT fittings?
Is there another alternative for fuel rails? I see some guys are making brackets but I dont want something thats cheap and likely to fail.

Sorry i just noticed where you replied.
I'm running 11.5 in the 1/4. As soon as i hit my goal of 10.9 I'm going boosted on my 408. I'm torn between the Pro Flo Xt, Holley high ram, and Fast 102.
I dont like how everyone is saying the runners on the holley high ram doesn't line up with the heads.
Im not too crazy about running the polymer fast 102 with boost, plus the two other intakes just seem to be better.
Now the only thing i don't like about the Pro Flo Xt is everyone is saying the fuel rails are junk. But I'd like to know exactly what's wrong with them. Is it the size, the type of fitting, hp capacity, what. Pretty much all the threads in reading everyone is making their own brackets to run a different fuel rail.
But if you say you made 1000hp on them then i don't see a problem. What size line did you use? Did you use a cross over or a Y fitting

Pro flo xt would be best choice if you have no problem with hood clearance. Otherwise the fast would be better.
The edb rails arent the best in the world and using an NPT for the fuel rail is rather dumb. ORB is best. We have some other options that will work.
