My pump has got to be on its last leg. How hard is it to remove and install? I'll be doing it myself so anyone got any pointers? I have been searching the site and cant seem to find fuel pump install guides. And which one should I go with?

Don't waste your money on a stock replacement pump ($587 dealer price unless you can get a discount). Been there done that. It cost me $1287 to have a dealer replace my pump. And that didn't include the 2 day car rental since they didn't have pump in stock.

Go with a Racetronix and install using the trap door method.

Instructions just replacing the pump.

Search Nicks page for the install instructions through trap door

Use this tool rather than a dremel

thanks for the replies guys. I was so sure it was the pump but now I am 99.9% sure that it is the theft deterrent system. If it ends up being my damn key I am gonna slap myself!
