Default red race valve?

Hey I'm new to forced induction and was wondering if I'm able to run the red rave valve with only 7psi. I know on brutespeeds website recommends it for 14psi+ but will it not work with under 14psi?
Thanks in advanced for the help

It'll work, but it's not neccesary. I ran the regular proflo valve up until last year when I upped the boost from 14psi. Above 14psi, the proflo starts to bleed off boost and doesn't flow enough to regulate surge.

I'm running one on 8psi. I wanted to build my system so when I went bigger everything needed was there already.

I also did the same, I spent the $$$ up front and got the big red bypass so I didn't have to upgrade in the future.

I'm pretty sure the race valve comes with its own hard line to hook it up. Do you plan on getting the open or closed valve? The open is pretty loud but sounds good, people know your there haha

Yes it's fine to use, and it comes supplied with a pneumatic push fitting for 1/4" OD nylon tubing

Although it's just screwed into an 1/8" NPT port in the top of the valve, so you cold screw anything you wanted into it.

But the pneumatic push fit stuff is handy
