Default 2001 camaro SS Build

have pics coming in as I do it but most of the part hare here. Fast 102 intake, 102 fast TB, fast toys 101 mm lid top, Texas Speeds 100mm MAF, Fast fuel rails, Calies Dragonslayer 4.00" crank, Molar 6.125" connecting rods, Weiseco custom pistons -6cc dish, Compcams LSR™ Cathedral Port, 285LR HR13, Compcams shaft roller rockers. Comcams pushrods, Compcams LS Engine Dual Valve Spring, SLP double roller timing chain, Ripp shifter, Borla Adj. 3.5in exhaust, Moser engineering 12 bolt 3.73 gears. Zex direct port 75-300 hp nos kit. all ARP bolts, studs ect. Stainlessworks headers and y pipe. and Strano's suspension springs and sway bars, UMI k-member UMI lower control arms, UMI Full on everything else, still need heads.

gave t he car to a shop to build it for me 3 years latter i took it back in parts, now i have to build it.

Nice, that's a lot of money in parts you got there lol!

Besides beating that Eclipse what are your goals for the car? Is it an A4 or M6?

just to enjoy it mostly and take out all these imports out here in Seattle. and its a T56 going to get the hawks 3rd gen level3 trans rebuild kit in 3 weeks. going ot put a 6 point cage in it, custom seats from 6LE Designs, try to take to Camaro shows and track days.

That's a big mountain of parts you got piled up there. Its always nice modding a car, you are going to have a lot fun installing all of those new parts.

yea its a good start on getting the car done, but theres still a lot of things to get before im done.

my buddy says its 550 WRHP but I really don't know other than that, I don't get in imports but he thinks its fast so I made the wife mad and spent way more than I planed on to make sure its left behind.

so excited build has stared motor out of car and going to get blue printed and balanced this week. I'm going to give the msd coils a try there spoust to be a new version I've read the stuff on many forums about how bad they are. I got AFR 210 mongoose heads this week. hope they flow well.

i spent my bonus and savings and had to promise the wife id get her a ring in the same price range, as soon as i told her id get her a big *** rock she jumped on board with the whole idea

I'm getting the engine back ither end of this week or start of next than i should be 3 weekends after that. but as soon as possible. i didn't tear the car apart so i have to put the puzzle back together. would have been easier if i was the one to tear it down.

Yeah that is true. Well I can speak for a lot of others on here in that I have taken my car apart more than once so if you have questions post them up..

so did you finish the build or is it taking over a year to put all the parts on? looks like it is going to be nice!
