stock cranks and a supercharger !
I was wondering how many of u are running a forged motor and a stock crank on a centrifugal supercharger. ? How much power are u making . I can't decide between a 408 or 370 ci . I like the overlap of the 3.622 stroke ,and I would have more boost with it . The 408 would take more volume of air to create boost .

Wouldnt really be a "forged" motor with a stock crank though.
obviously any requirement for additional nose strength would depend whether you want to drive a P1 blower or an F3
So goals are quite important. IMO forged cranks arent overly expensive anyway, so would seem senseless if fitting rods and pistons and aiming for over say 600hp or so, then it would be silly not to use one.

I have run a couple-currently running forged pistons, rods, stock crank with a D1SC, cog drive transplant kit w/14 lbs boost
I was a little worried about the distance the crank pulley was from the end of the crank, but so far so good-I don't run it much over 6K
I orig ran this short block with the vette style Procharger kit and 8 rib conversion, so the short block has some miles on it
