t56 rebuild Rebuilding my t56 and I am going to put my new 1st&2nd synchronizer on and was wondering does it matter which way the synchronizer faces the front of transmission .
Only difference its has is one edge is tapered and one is not.

Found what I was looking for.
in the sticky of coarse
The grooves on each slider(1/2 and 3/4) are not directional. The only reason joe does this is because tremec does this from the factory.
