Default Guide me to adjusting my passenger window .

Ive looked at the writeup on http://shbox.com/1/adj_window.html

Ive adjusted the window up so that its nice and tight but the back of the window isn't tight at all . Very loose and easy to pull a dollar bill out when the door is closed with the window up .

How to i adjust the back to make it water tight ?

Also when adjusting the top of the window , i want it tighter against the seal which way to i adjust the jack studs? clockwise or counter?

Did you accidently drill out the rivets that hold the window? If so make sure the bolts you put back in go right in the same place the rivets are in. Make sure everything is aligned correctly and that the tabs that push againtt the window are not overly tight.

Remove the interior door panel look to make sure the car still has the original rivets that help hold the window mech. in place or you may just need a new window motor.

OK, We are missing part of the story here... Did this just start recently, has it gone on a long while, did you just have the door swapped?

If this has been going on since the door was replaced, then the adjustment you want to make is on the vertical track at the very back of the door. This controls the placement of the glass on that weatherstrip. (Once you are done, you may have to do some of the other adjustments over again.)

If this is recent, you could have another type of issue...

Me too! I have got to get to work taking this thing apart. Window is "****-eyed" so not sitting flush at the top roofline or bottom sail panel. It's just a hair off but so damn annoying!

i bought the car and is was like this when i got it . ive just been dealing with it getting wet inside the car when i wash it , but decided to fit it .

The door motor is good no wear on the fiberglass mounting mounts.

But the door is adjusted higher. Thats what the pics are of . Its adjusted up tight but in the second pic is where its loose.

Are the little brass guides that bolt onto the top of the door adjust to push the window outward?

I know my explanation is hard to understand, but I had to adjust mine to keep it from doing exactly as you are describing. I think the original owner was trying to stop the window rattle when you close the door.
