I have a 4l80e that started as a Jakes stage2 4l80e with manual low transbrake. I got this on trade from anther member here in supposedly good working order with a 100 miles on it. After getting it and installing it a few months later I found that the transmission would not catch in 4th and would just rev after a certain rpm. I took it to a local builder here who deals with a bunch of high HP builds and a few sponsors on this boards stuff. He rebuilt everything and found the pump trashed and clutches worn. After getting it back and around 1g later I put it back in the car and found that it still had the same problem. I took it back and disassembled everything and reassemble it with a CK Performance FMVB with a brake. This is how it sits now. I also sent Jakes valvebody in and they sent me a new valvebody that I will include and it is a easy VB swap if you want the autoshift back in it. I believe that the problem may have been the wiring and trying to run the 60e file n it to control the 80e but it is a zero mile transmission now and I will include the FTI billet converter with it aswell setup for a turbo. This was also just rebuilt by FTI and is ready to go.

I will put up pics tomorrow. I am just trying to be honest with this thing as everything is new but don't want to try to hide anything. I have a great trader rating on here and sell a bunch and none of it is crap.

Plans have changed and I am going to a Jakes level 5 as I am going for 1500hp

I am not parting anything out unless you find someone who wants the transmission.

I may be interested in the trans. What's the price on that?
