I currently have a th350 in my Trans Am.. I am planning on putting in a built 700r4. Do I need a new flex plate or can I just use the one that is in there for the th350?

What flexplate do you have now and are you using the pilot extender?

it came with the car so I have no idea what It has.. Lets say I do need one.. Any recommendations?

Also what kind of stall do you recommend for a street car that will see drag every once in a while?

Not if your just switching to a 700r4, should swap right in.

I would expect this too, but Chris (Circle-D) knows 100x more about flexplates than me. Perhaps Chris was just being cautious and wanted to be sure.

you kind of have to know what's in there now-a reg 700R converter would have a short snout, unless it was ordered with a longer one
if not, then maybe it has a spacer
anybody's just guessing otherwise-do you really want to lose overdrive?
