cam retainer seal?

Default cam retainer seal?

when replacing the cam do get just a gasket or this part w/seal
#12556437 -L92 Camshaft Retainer w/ Seal .

The retainer has an oring seal made on it. Just put assembly grease on it and the thrust surface and bolt it back on. It will be good to go.

Seal is built in. Unless damaged, no real need to replace it.

the seal was damaged so i had to go to the stealership anyways for a pan gasket so i just picked one up. not to bad oil pan gasket & retainer $31.
