TCC switch - 4l60e / 66 Impala
What, if anything do I need to do to my stock TCC switch when putting a 4l60e in my 1966 impala?
Newbie to this but read a couple things that mentioned the TCC switch and the info was unclear. Any input would be appreciated!!!
Thanks!

You need to do two things. One is to engage the lockup
solenoid, which is a short-to-ground via the harness.
The other is to apply voltage to the TCC PWM regulator
(+12 to get full main-line pressure, less will give you a
softer TCC apply and weaker holding).
I'd recommend trying to do this with relay logic so you
can also add a tap-brake-to-unlock function and not
stall out when you forget to unlock the switch.

Ok so I got my harness and it says I just need to hook up the wire labeled TCC to the brake switch positive...sounds right to me since it will make the circuit when the brake is applied....am I off base on that thought process?

I got it figured out! A couple people on another thread mentioned this works well with older cars and newer tranny's. Hopefully this helps someone else too
