pics of broken stock axle
I heard a 'click' on one launch and spun hard through first and second, time was off .5 sec.. Next launch, 'snap' ....
the way the broken piece was lodged in the carrier I couldn't push it in far enough to remove the c-clip. So, several hours and using some home-made dremel bits, I slowly cut it away until I could pop it out.
It looks like this thing just exploded more then broke...

passenger side axle is ok. I have a forged replacement pair from Moser going in anyway.
Yes, stock torque arm and drive shaft. Usually a 5-6k launch on Goodyear SS DR's
Torsen is basically stock except ARP main cap studs and a TA cover
Honestly, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Quick fix for now, upgrade later..
