Plastic Dip my WS6 rims?
Getting new pads and rotors, so I decided that's a good excuse to paint my calipers. Then I thought that some black rims would look sick along with red calipers. Trouble is I haven't come across any pics of red T/A's with black plastic dipped WS6 rims. Anyone got some?
I also have no experience in plastic dipping, though I hear it's pretty straightforward.
Here's my car as it stands:

I'm in the same boat as you, I've have the Orange paint but want black rims and thought about Plasti-dip. I just plasti-dipped the shaker hood of my '08 Mustang GT and it looks a ton better in matte black. It was easy, light coats they stick good and doesn't seem to run like normal spray paint. Anyway, I'm thiking about pulling the trigger on these wheels instead. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111274576282...84.m1423.l2649

We plasti dipped my friends Racestars yesterday...it's very simple. The first wheel we did two very heavy coats, other wheels three light-medium coats. They turned out better. Then three coats of gloss over the dip (Plasti-Dip makes a gloss coating for them). It looks pretty good. Can post a pic of the finish to give you an idea, but it is not quite a matte black (unless you don't spray the gloss) but also not a real shiny black.

[QUOTE=TechCam97;18122014]Brutal_Boba_Fett and I plasti-dipped his wheels and left the lip polished.
That looks sick!
About how many cans you need for all four corners?
