Default Spark Plug Help!

I'm working on installing my headers and doing new plugs and wires at the same time. I got my plugs in, and the new headers but was wondering whether or not the spring/aluminum heat shield had to be used on my new plugs and wires? I'm using NGK TR-55 and MSD Plug Wires. I put them in without the aluminum shroud and spring for the time being as i'm not done installing yet. Help would be greatly appreciated!

You can leave them off. I'm not sure they even fit with some long tubes.

Every set I've ever had I've trashed upon removal...

I agree. Bin them. They aren't needed with a quality plug wire set.
