Wrong gear. I think he was 1 too high. Good kill none the less. Also weight wise you're lighter and make more power. If he had what you do it would be a whole lot closer.

My grandpa has an 07 350Z and I think it's a decent car. Power isn't too shabby at 306. I know the 370's have more power but damn, I'd be a little embarrassed being pulled by an Accord lol.

The 7 speed auto one's are 13.2-13.4 @ 105-106 mph cars at my track stock. They run the same times I did stock in my 2.73 auto... and mines pretty healthy.

I raced a 345 whp/267 lb-ft full bolt on Z in my current state(12.4 @ 113 on street tires; did 328 whp/355 lb-ft) and 40-120 I got him by maybe half a car.... I make less power, but more torque. So the tuned auto ones are the ones to watch for IMO.

Really kind of a hit or miss with these cars and their drivers, and it's usually a miss. They can be pretty quick.

The accord is full bolt ons and makes 260 whp at 3100 lbs, and he trapped 104+ mph.

The vq35hr 350z's are basically the same speed as the 370z's. Here's an example of a fast Z. It trapped 112-113 mph full bolt ons, gears. The LS2 GTO makes right at 400 whp with a mild cam.
