Default Rear Seal

Well have oil dripping out from the bottom of the bell housing again. Replaced the rear sear less then 3000 miles ago and installed a vacum pump. I thought that would keep the pressure from building up, So any suggestions reasons or is this something that wasn't done right the first time.

Did you check to see if the crank was smooth and burr free? if so you might have a slightly warped crank.

I replaced my whole rear main cover (with the gasket and seal) when I had my trans out and it leaks again, about the same mileage as you got out of it. They say alignment is critical but it only seemed to go on one way. Good luck - let us know if you find anything. Maybe the oil pan is leaking from the rear?
